Samuel Taylor Coleridge – Rime of the Ancient Mariner Pt IV & V

June 17th, 2010

I chose a selection from Coleridge’s “Rime of the Ancient Mariner” because I thought it would challenge me a little more than some of the earlier readings I did. My first introduction to Coleridge was a reading done by a professor and there is something about the hearing poetry read out loud (and by someone who knows how) that makes it so much more profound and it has stuck with me since then. I don’t think my recording is anywhere near the level of my professor’s reading but, I am satisfied with the final product (funny how stuff sounds better in your head than when its a recording).
