“Mere Christianity” by C.S. Lewis

June 16th, 2010

Mere Christianity

C.S. Lewis is one of my favorite writers, especially about spiritual matters. His works “The Screwtape Letters” and “Mere Christianity” are both clear, profound, and completely devoid of the parts of Christianity which I myself prefer to avoid.

I’ve linked not only my own recording of the first chapter, but also a Youtube audio recording. The chapter reading starts at 6:20 in the Part 2, but I would highly advise listening to Part 1 and the beginning of Part 2, as it is the reading of the forward, which helps to explain Lewis’ motivation and some background on the piece. My chapter is finished up in Part 3 on Youtube.
